2026 MUSHROOM CSA
Mushrooms are a delicious and incredibly nutritious food & medicine. We grow blue oyster, king oyster, lion's mane, shiitake, along with other species on logs from sustainable materials. We are Certified Naturally Grown and offer the highest quality mushrooms possible to our community. The mushrooms we harvest are packed with antioxidants, vitamins B &D, Iron and are one of the few foods with a complete amino acid profile. Regular fresh mushroom consumption offers your body a potent “adaptogen” which supports and balances your immune system.

— WE ADDED pick up locations: Wednesday Ithaca Farmers Market (East Hill) and Danby Food and Drink!
— There are now ADD-ONs to your CSA: get tinctures, powders, and/or grow kits alongside your shrooms at a 20% discount! Choose monthly or bimonthly distributions and add a new dimension to your mushroom enjoyment.

The Basics:
We split the growing season into Spring/Summer/Fall seasons.
Each is 12 weeks of mushrooms, except for the FALL share at Ithaca Wednesday Farmers market, which is 10 weeks since the market closes at the end of October.
Choose half or full pound per week, and get a mix of the harvest.
We get lots of interesting questions on species info, cooking tips, recipes, and preserving mushrooms and have an online hub where all this info lives to help you make the most of the shrooms you receive.
Seasons:
Spring CSA (12 weeks): Week of Mar 9 through Week of May 25
Summer CSA (12 weeks): Week of Jun 1 through Week of Aug 17
Fall CSA (12 weeks) : Week of Aug 24 through Week of Nov 9 (or Oct 26)
NOTE: Wednesday Farmers Market FALL season will be 10 weeks

Tiered Pricing Breakdown:
We offer this structure recognizing the financial resources of folks vary. You choose the level you contribute, and as a whole it helps make the csa run. Those with more abundant resources help those with less.
Tier 1 - low income or experiencing unemployment, or other financial challenges
Tier 2 - represents the true cost of a share
Tier 3 - households with abundant financial resources help us support others with less
